AlfieBOSWELLThe funeral of a King took place in town, faces looked sombre but nowhere a frown. Alfie Boswell said farewell to us all. It was a celebration with horses and all. Heywood Funeral Service was awesome, the best, a wonderful way to lay King Alfie to rest. Flowers from Forget Me Not admired by the crowd, a glass carriage for King Alfie, you bet he was proud. The church was full, his lovely carers came, their face smiled at the sound of his name. Father Daley spoke of the Alfie we love, now he rests in Heaven above. The Heywood Pub gave us good food and hospitality, this was chosen especially for its locality. With Family and Friends, past stories were told, heard by generations, both young and old. I thank Rachel Linguard for supporting Jamie-Lee, I thank Jenny and John for the photos for the Family and me. Thank you all for making my Dad's day special. A funeral fit for a King. Sue Boswell
